Well, it’s official. COMELEC Minute Resolution 07-1356 officially postpones the Stakeholder Conference to September 10-12, 2007, and sets the venue at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club

Welcome to the blog of the 2007 Stakeholder Conference convened by the Commission on Elections.

The Conference is being convened as part of the COMELEC’s committment to “continually improving its administration of elections by building upon past successes and decisively acting to modify or discard policies which are no longer effective or relevant through a process of policy re-evaluation, beginning with an objective assessment of the conduct of the May 14, 2007 National and Local Elections.”

It is hoped that the Conference will be seen by all stakeholders as an “opportunity to present their observations and recommendations to the Commission on Elections under non-adversarial circumstances in the spirit of true cooperation.”

See you at the Conference!
